Mayeeka’, which means the bride’s home in Hindi, presents exclusive selections in ethnic Indian occasion wear. Their product portfolio of lehengas, sarees, suits, gowns and dress materials cater to the modern Indian woman who is proud of her roots.The store environment needed to define the style and elegance the brand stands for.
THE CONCEPT
The design strategy was conceived as a modern ‘fashion Haveli’ where the customer could experience modern Indian rooted in traditional art and stands for elegance and style. The store design palette is inspired by and is taken from the opulent interior décor elements used in traditional rich havelis in India.The store design palette is inspired from and taken from the opulent interior décor elements used in traditional rich havelis in India. The store signature is created with the selective use of Indian patterns and forms in different elements like back-lit trellis partitions, column treatments, patterned marble flooring and ornate mirrors. Complementing this is the fixture palette which has a touch of gold to add the premium aspirational touch to the store interiors. The trial room area is also treated very special with carved doors that have brass logo inlays. Brass fittings are used inside to create a premium dressing room for trial.
